The FIFTH stop for the 2026 DFW Pinball League will be in Mansfield, Texas.

DOORS OPEN AT 11:00 AM.
CHECK-IN STARTS AT 11:30 AM.

Daniel Martin first joined us as part of the DFW Pinball scene a couple of years ago and has since become a top player! Meanwhile, behind the scenes, he has quietly built an impressive pinball collection (see list of games later in this event description). 

Now he wants to open his collection up to the DFW Pinball League for the first time! PARTY AT DANIEL'S HOUSE!!

No coin drops needed, all games are set to FREE PLAY.

Event is limited to 48 PARTICIPANTS.
44 of those spots will be available on the registration site.

$15 per adult
Children 16 and under play FREE

PRIZES:
THERE WILL BE PLAYOFFS FOR BOTH A AND B DIVISIONS SO ALL SKILL LEVELS CAN PLAY AND WIN!
Prizes for this event will be provided by our host (except kids prizes - I still provide those).
At a minimum, the prizes will include:
--> Top 4 in B Division
--> A prize for the best four "kids" players

Play in as much or as little as you like.
Its a PARTY first, with a little pinball mixed in!

MAIN TOURNAMENT
Qualifying is "group matchplay style". 
This means you'll be playing in three or four player groups on multiple machines.
We will play as many rounds as we can in 4 hours (based on time the round starts).

Playoffs/Finals will be Group Elimination (similar to PAPA Style).
This means you play in four player groups and, at the end of each round, the top 2 players move on and the bottom 2 players are eliminated.

The B Division is restricted as follows:
-- players in the top 1500 in the IFPA rankings are ineligible for B division
-- players who have placed in the TOP 3 in any of the 3 most recent DFW Pinball League events are ineligible for B division
-- THUS: many of the top players are excluded from the B Division so that ANYONE CAN WIN!

FOOD:
We will cook a main course, like maybe RIBS or similar.
Potluck style for everything else (more main courses and/or sides).
We plan to provide bottles of water- please bring any other drinks that you want.

NTX Pinball presents an IFPA-sanctioned event on Saturday, March 14, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM at Pinball In The Mall (The Vista Mall) in Lewisville, TX. Compete for WPPR (World Pinball Player Ranking) points!

Tournament fee: $5 ($2 Prize Fund, $2 Tournament Expenses, $1 IFPA) -- plus coin drop (tokens for games)

QUALIFYING
Target Group Match Play

4-player groups on each machine where possible

IFPA scoring: 7 / 5 / 3 / 1

1 game each round

Target = 56 points

Players will continue playing rounds and accumulating points until a player reaches 56 points. Qualifying ends at the conclusion of that round, and standings are determined using the results from that same round. Ties will be resolved only if needed to determine the final advancing spot(s).

TIMING (ESTIMATED)

Pace: 20-30 minutes per round

Expected length: ~10-11 rounds

Qualifying estimate: ~3.5-5.5 hours (varies with player count and game times)

FINALS
Top 16 advance (or fewer if fewer than 32 players) to a Two-Strike (XX) Lenient Group Strikes final. Once a player receives two strikes (XX), they are eliminated.

Strikes by group size:

4-player groups: 3rd & 4th receive a strike

3-player groups: 3rd receives a strike

2-player groups: 2nd receives a strike

Finals estimate: ~2.5-3 hours

NOTE: If we have sufficient interest, we will consider running an additional (unsanctioned, for fun) strikes tournament, open not only to anyone who failed to qualify, but anyone else who may be in the arcade at that time as well.

TGP (ESTIMATE)
Qualifying is expected to be 10-11 games, mostly in 4-player groups = 20-22 meaningful games toward TGP.
Finals estimate: ~14 meaningful games.

At 4% TGP per meaningful game:

Low end: (20 + 14) = 34 meaningful games -> 136% TGP

High end: (22 + 14) = 36 meaningful games -> 144% TGP

Note: This estimate assumes a full 16-player finals field--so bring your friends and help us fill it out!

Match Play winner receives a trophy

Match Play prize fund payout (majority vote): All to winner, OR 65% / 25% / 10% (1st / 2nd / 3rd)

Pinball Poker prize pot: All Pinball Poker prize money is awarded to the highest hand. In the event of a tie, the poker pot will be split

Arcade snacks + canned soda: $2 each or 2 for $3 mix-and-match

The mall also has a nice variety of food options on both levels: Zion Food Court (lower level) + Mall Food Court (upper level)

BYOB and outside snacks/food welcome and sharing is always appreciated! Pinball In The Mall DOES NOT currently have any spare fridge space, so feel free to bring your drinks in a cooler, etc.

We are opening the Carpool Proving Grounds on the first and third Tuesday of each month. For these Tuesday events, we are running a beat the clock qualifier with a head to head/group matchplay final depending on attendance. More details are below.

Most of our games are EMs and classic solid states. Modern Sterns will be held in reserve if other games go down. All games are set to free play. They are set HARD. Game specific notes will be displayed on the back glass as required.

There will be somewhat limited parking on the property itself. There is a parking lot just north of the property on N White Chapel Blvd that is a short walk away.
